Humans fear what has already passed on. We cover mirrors, we turn on the lights and we bless houses that we relocate into. We say our prayers and we turn to our bibles to prevent the dead from looking us in the eye.

But evil lies all around us. Evil lies in the heart of mankind. My fellow humans, fear not the dead, for they have already passed on. Fear your friends. Fear your lover. Fear your enemies and fear your brothers. There is a dormant beast that lies within us all, far more terrifying than wraiths and spirits. We can cause death and devastation.

The living are the true monsters. We’ve been blaming the dead for far too long.
